Meet Our Team
Plano, TX
One of the first things you’ll notice about our practice is our team “chemistry.” The chemistry here is all good and is fueled by the humor, professionalism, skill, dedication, and compassion of each team member. You’ll also notice that we pay much attention to the little comfort details. Are you thirsty? Do you need some lip balm? Need to call a family member?
It is this level of comfort and service that you can expect from us during each and every visit.
Lynn – RDH
Lynn is our registered dental hygienist. She received her bachelor of science in dental hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1996. She has been with our practice ever since. She has pride in making her patients healthier with clinical hygiene and education. Lynn is committed to giving her patients the highest quality care, with a gentle touch.
Lynn enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband Robert, especially going to Iowa to see her family. In her spare time she also enjoys going to the gym for “health” time.
Denise – RDH
Denise is one of our part time hygienist. She has been practicing for 38 years. Her passion is seeing patients be the best they can be, not only pertaining to oral health. She loves family and enjoys getting to know about patients families as well. Denise has been married to her high school sweetheart Larry for 38 years. Denise and Larry are longtime friends with Dr. McDonald, and actually went to the same college.
Denise and Larry have a daughter and a son living in the metroplex and 4 beautiful grandangels. She enjoys working out and traveling along side with Larry. Denise is very active in her church serving with the high school youth and is a mentor mom for a special moms group.
Emily – RDH
Originally from Longview, Texas, Emily has been dedicated to the dental field since 2002. A proud graduate of Collin College’s Dental Hygiene program, she brings a caring heart and a genuine love for helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She feels truly blessed to work alongside Dr. McDonald and Dr. Luck, where she continues to make a positive impact every day.
Outside the office, she enjoys cheering on her son Luke at his football games, traveling, scuba diving, and spending quality time with her family. She also loves sharing new adventures with her fiancé, Corey — whether it’s traveling together or simply enjoying time with loved ones.
Lisa – RDA, New Patient Coordinator
Lisa is the Treatment and New Patient Coordinator. She thrives on putting people at ease and bringing a smile to their faces. She has a zest for life and finds joy in the patient relationships that she has nurtured over the many years she has been with Dr. McDonald. Having a compassionate, professional, fun environment to work in is a blessing for her. She celebrates life with family and friends because “Every day is a holiday… and every meal is a feast”!
Kristi – RDA
Kristi is our lead registered dental assistants. She has sat side-by-side assisting Dr. McDonald and managing the lab since 2001. Her passion for dentistry is driven by the love of people and the opportunity that dentistry allows her to build relationships that make a difference in our patient’s lives. Implants and all of the new technology that Dr. McDonald’s office provides our patients are just a few of the things that Kristi loves.
Outside of the office, Kristi enjoys spending time with her husband and two children at baseball and football games.
Ashley – RDA
Ashley brings over 20 years of experience to the dental field, working with dedication and compassion alongside Dr. McDonald and Dr. Luck. She is committed to patient care and promoting overall health and wellness. Outside of the office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, her two children, and her cherished grandson. One of the most special parts of her career is working alongside her twin sister, Valerie, as they have shared a lifelong journey in dentistry together.
Valerie – RDA
Valerie has been a dedicated dental assistant for over 20 years, bringing experience, compassion, and a calming presence to every patient she meets. She feels especially lucky to share her career alongside her identical twin sister, Ashley, as part of the trusted team with Dr. McDonald and Dr. Luck.
Outside the office, Valerie is a proud wife to a police officer and a busy mom to three wonderful kids, ages 5, 9, and 11. Valerie’s warm personality and love for both her work and family shine through in everything she does.
Payton – RDA
Payton is the newest addition to our dental family and is excited to embark on her journey in the dental industry. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Payton has a deep appreciation for a healthy and confident smile. Her infectious personality and genuine care make all our patients feel at ease and welcome.
Outside the office, Payton is a Pilates enthusiast who enjoys staying active and balanced. When she is not on the mat, you will often find her curled up with a good book, discovering new stories and ideas. She is thrilled to be part of our team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with our patients! |
